I've just opened the May issue of Locus-- and discovered that in its half-page spread announcing the 2009 Hugo Awards Nominations, they excised Helen Merrick's The Secret Feminist Cabal from the list of Best Related Book nominees.
It was probably an error. & somehow they didn't think to proofread the list, to look for inadvertent deletions by their typesetter. (One thing we at Aqueduct learned the hard way is that errors tend to crop up in frontmatter & other places outside the main text.
