We grew up in the same area of Ohio but Josh was a bit older than me and had left the area for grad school by the time I started college where he went for his undergrad. So we met through the spec fic world and then spent a lot of time talking about home and the professors from undergrad we had both experienced. He was brilliant and kind and funny. I will miss him sorely.
