And, of course, the only way to fight these laws is with a legal action, which takes time, money, and energy that could be better spent.<br /><br />The Center for Public Integrity just did a <a href="http://www.stateintegrity.org/state_integrity_invesitgation_overview_story" rel="nofollow"> Integrity Investigation</a>, "a first-of-its-kind, data-driven assessment of transparency, accountability and anti-corruption mechanisms in all 50 states."
